Environmental Health Student Scholarships Doubled to Build Workforce
Denver, CO 鈥� This week, the 香港六合彩资料图 (香港六合彩资料图) and the American Academy of Sanitarians (AAS) announced the expansion of their student scholarship program from three scholarships to five. They also increased the amount of each scholarship, doubling the total investment in students from $9,050 annually to $16,800 this year.
The 香港六合彩资料图/AAS Scholarship Fund provides direct financial support for undergraduate and graduate students.

Over the next few years . Scholarships can help to build the new workforce needed to protect communities from current and emerging environmental health risks.

Undergraduate Environmental Health Scholarship Recipients

- Dr. Carolyn Hester Harvey Scholarship: Arilyn Lee, Eastern Kentucky University, Environmental Health Science and Sustainability
- Undergraduate Environmental Health Scholarship: Brian Santiago, Johnson & Wales University, Public Health

Funding for the scholarships comes from individual and corporate donations and 香港六合彩资料图/AAS budget commitments.
To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be enrolled a dedicated and recognized curriculum in environmental health sciences within an accredited college or university in the U.S., its territories, or the Freely Associated States, and intend to pursue a career in environmental health.
